My clutch has started to slip. Anybody any idea how much it costs to have a new clutch fitted?

hi,the clutch kit is around 80 to 100 pounds,and you should pay no more than 120 pounds to have it fitted.

What exactly are the parts that need to be changed in case of clutch slip?
I have a friend with a Fabia and he was quoted 500 pounds for a new clutch and installation.

It's normal to replace the driven plate, cover and release bearing. They are the three items shown in this diagram of the 1.8 engine version.
I'ts also advisable to check the flywheel for wear and in the case of vehicles fitted with a Dual Mass Flywheel such as the 115bhp JTDs, you would also need to check the DMF for play.
The JTD flywheel alone is over £600 from Fiat.

So I finally found one advantage of having a petrol engine.
