General Sliding door release

Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first post so forgive me if I have missed this before. I have searched for advise but not found any.

When my rear doors are open on my 2005 Uly, I am having trouble releasing the catch with the handle to close the door. How do I adjust or tighten up the mechanism that releases the catch which prevents the door from sliding closed. Do you get my drift? This is my second Uly and it was a bit of a problem on the old model, but now on the new model it seems worse!

you can adjust the cable at the bottom front runner just remove the plastic cover and you can see the cable it gose under a clip and you retension the cable an easy job.
