Ok I've just fitted my so called 40mm PI lowering springs to my Cinq Sporting and have found that although the front is LOW (No suprise there then), it is perfectly fine, BUT the back has been dropped so much that with one just the driver in I only have 1cm of clearance between the arch and my tyre. With two people in the tyres catch the arch but only on corners, and you have to drive like a granny round them so that they don't catch.
I've got 195/45X14 tyres fitted to 14" Fox Racing Evo 2 alloys and have cut the real bump stops down by about 15-20mm. My dad's Cinq has Eibach springs fitted to his and although it isn't as low as mine he has nothing cut off his bumpstops.
I was wondering, I'm going to order new bump stops and leave them at their original length. BUT can ANYONE help me by surgesting anything that I can do to stop my arches from catching my tyres.
I wanna keep my alloys and tyres for definate as they cost me a small fortune, and being a Uni student I'm tighter than a ducks backside with what I spend my money on, well apart from DRINK, my car and women obviously, (but then again thats student life isn't it????? OR is that just me????)
Any help on this matter would be great, thanks.

Ask any racer, any real racer, it don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning's winning!
