wish they were talon's colour. think i would have placed a bid then.. wonder if anyone on here could repair my old ones.. its just a tad out of my level of work.. mostly cos i do not have the tools to do complex sheet bending.

i think you can pick up a crimper for about 20 quid and some one on here done a guide, but i think its in a thread not guides section. i go look

John you could do them no problem, you don't need a crimping tool to do the flange, a hammer and dolly works fine. Hardest part is doing a decent fold on such a long length, but with a couple of lengths of angle iron it can be done. A joggler does make things easier but again it can be done without.

I have the original door from my red CLX I was going to repair and put up for sale, just not got round to it. How bad are your doors John?

the bottoms are non existent. skin and frame lmao

tbf i was thinking of getting some old doors, filling them with expanding foam, sanding down all the foam that sticks out, sticking some fibreglass sheeting over the holes then painting over. then for inside the doors just fill em up with something.. water proof. wax or something. i only want it to look good.. noth that fussed about structure on the doors.

when i have loads of cash ill just buy 2 really good doors and get the sprayed, or find 2 old ones and pay someone to do a proper resto and paint on them.

thing is though i really like the marbella doors on Talon.. mainly because of the mirrors. if they didn't have the mk1 ribs under the plastic covers i would have just painted them talon's colour and stuck the sisley plastic trim on them.
