I have seen mentioned here a few times MPI.
What is this?

Bit of a noob question probably. I'm ready for the ridicule! :yum:

multi point injection. four injectors 1 for each cylinder and a fuel rail: the single point injection is one injector in the throttle body and is basically a glorified smart carburettor

Well, that makes sense really? Should have just thought about that first.
I feel like such a pillock!

You see it a lot on this forum because you have SPI and MPI centos,

Standard seicentos made before the facelift are SPI

Weekly Checks? I just check it over as and when I have time, which isn't very often at the moment

Jings, how long does it take? 15 minutes max.

How do you know if you are losing liquids or you lights aren't working if you don't check. Tyre pressures change with temperature, so on a hot day your tyres will be too high, and more worryingly, they will be under pressure when cold.

Make a point of doing it at least once a week.

Cheers

if you arent too confident of knowing which you have by looking at the engine the interiors are different

One main difference is if your speedometer is white with a traditional number style milometer you have an spi

In fact i know its an SPI what you have by the date its registered
