hi everyone, just got my hands on a sporting, but someone has ripped the drivers side wiper out causing damage to cowl/scuttle panel. 2 questions, firstly is said panel welded or bolted? Secondly, does anyone have a uno wiper motor and linkage bar that they would sell me to do single wiper conversion? Cheers people. T

It is welded in. Replacement requires screen removal. Bummer.
You could do as i did when my Cinq spindle seized causing the hole to wear big.
Find or make a washer that fits over the spindle and weld it over the scuttle hole.

Or chop out the relevant part panel from a car in a scrappy, weld that in -- there's strange stuff in the FROST catalogue which should keep the heat away from the window seal.
Well what do you know i had to fix my drivers side seized spindle today.
Took it out, soaked it oil for about an hour and put mole grips and spanner and span until free.
Sorted.
Had a blast out down the country roads and remembered what good fun they are.
