Technical Side lights don't work!

My car went in for repairs to the front end a few weeks ago. This weekend, I've noticed that my front sidelights don't work any more. Not sure if it's anything to do with the repair, or just a coincidence.

Anyone suggest what would be wrong - perhaps this is a common problem. Looks like it uses the same bulb as the dipped lights (my Marea's an HLX). The dipped lights work fine.

I assume there is a wire disconnected somewhere, but I can't see anything anywhere.

Stupid as it sounds, have you checked the fuses?

Yep, checked the fuses - can't see any that have blown.

Strange thing is, when the sidelights are switched on, the rear lights work, but the front ones don't. No blown bulb lights on the dashboard either.
