In response to FIATs mass pill popping spree, it got me wundrin...

What are the worst side effects you've ever had from any medication?

Personally, my head pills have been a bit of a nightmare:

first few weeks i had shakes (still get that), sickness, diziness, messed up sleeping patterns, tiredness (not directly linked to the bad sleeping), anxiety and probably a few more i can't remember...even now, i can't concentrate very well and sentence forming is a bit of a downer.

Still, could be worse...i could be on Seroxat!

I did get a bit of paranoia/anexity from some antibiotics i took when my finger got crushed.
Not as bad as RichieC tho!

was on holiday in turkey and got the runs

took 1/2 a tablet from the local chemist


didn't go to the toilet for 5 days!!!

FWIW among my worst medications to date are betablockers.

I was on them for a couple of weeks as the first attempt at getting my hypertension under control.

Truly awful. Like watching somebody else try to be you, but they're stuck in half speed, and you can't do a damn thing about it.

White knuckles on the motorway at 50, in the left-hand lane, when it's relatively empty [!]

I won't bore you with the cocktail of things I'm on these days |)
