Haha, I love it! Sills in good condition??? :p

in fact my panda which is still going strong(ish) today was used as a hay bail collector just like that. Me and my brother used to run and collect all the bails and put them into the car. Dad would drive it back to the barn, we would run back chasing the car (no room in/onside lol - too many bails!!) and then help with the unloading. Happy times, and when I had much more energy! If only I had that energy now.......

Si

PS like the engine...very sexy! :p

Picked up 'Lady' the CLX last night...she's a babe!

More photos to follow later.

Hiya All!
Here's my 1992 Panda Dance 903cc I got from a work friend over a year ago,
His kids learned to drive in it on his land,
When I got it,
It was green, should be white!
airfilter was nearly full of wheat,
stuck in gear, but gearlever flopped around everywhere,
no brakes, as rear engine mount had come undone
& the engine knocked the reservoir off the master cylinder!
1 of CV joint boots cracked, when removed boot, waited for oil to fall,
but was greeted by 3 rings of CV joint & needle bearing paste!
Fixed that, filled with oil, then found other boot leaked! bah!
lastly the engine didn't quite fire up,
due to the fuel pump's one way valves stuck open!
So when engine stopped, fuel went back to the tank!!
Spent my time fixing it up as I work in the open, chucked it in for MOT,
failed on missing exhaust rubber & rear brakes,
Fix it all, & passed, been enjoying ever since!
had a few problems with fuel contamination,
took tank off (which was fun?) & flushed it out & the carb too!!
Running like a dream now, may adjust float level again? I see how it goes!
Got MOT next week so see how it'll go?
bye for now,
Jason

Me again!
Here is another car I have,
but have taken/cut it apart and stored it away,
to be redone in the future as got too many other cars!
It's got a Rover V8 engine,
5 speed g/box & volvo 240 axle with 12" missing from each side!
The axle was narrowed that much because of the 10" x 15" wheels,
& its got skinny 3.5" x 15" wheels up front.
When I get round to fixin her up she will be open top roadster!
But there's along way to go before I get started!
I'll try to find & scan pics of engine insitu!
Its Great to see these cars being well looked after!
bye for now,
Jason...

You have yourself a extra special mk1 too, look much better dont they :D lol.

BTW does anyone else have trouble getting here using the "last page" link in the panda section? It comes up with page not found everytime I hit it and I cant understand why!!
