General Should I buy a 2004 Fiat Ulysse Eleganza 2.2 Jtd

Hi there,

I'm looking at a June 2004 Fiat Ulysse Eleganza 2.2 Jtd with 75k on the clock in very good condition but am wondering if experienced Ulysse owners could possibly guide me either way please? Any major problems with these cars, and are they expensive / difficult to put right when they go pear shaped?

No more than any other car these days , just make sure the expensive servce things are done ,so you don't have to like cam belt change and possible clutch ..

in answer to your question DONT BOTHER biggest heap of **** i`ve had the misfortune to own, only had mine 5 weeks now sold, electrics are crap always showing faults on dash, do ya self a favour save your money

Argh... nasty! Sorry to hear that you've had such problems... car trouble is a real pain!

In the end I bought a 2002 Ford Galaxy 1.9TDI Zetec in very tidy condition inside and out. Full main dealer service history, owned from new by a Ford service manager lol. Timing belt, pump, clutch etc have all been replaced recently too.

Was a bit older than I really wanted to go... but the condition and history tipped the balance for me. So far I couldn't be more pleased with it... long may it continue lol
