Does anyone know where they sell short number plates (still legal font size etc etc but shortened at the sides due to only have 5 digit number plate). Looked at most places online but cant find any.

You'll probably find that most, if not all, 'official' suppliers will only do the standard sizes, so your best bet would be an online company that sells Show Plates (search 'Show Plates' and a few will come up).
