If you have no micrometer, get an envolope for each valve number them, measure the valve clearences one at a time write each measurment on the envolope and what the correct measurment should be, put each shim in its envolope, take to engine recon engineering shop, and ask them to sort out the correct shims, take them home and pop all the shims in there right places.;)

Fiat won't let you do the envolope thing though. last time i done it when i never had a micrometer, I got charged nothing, they gave the job to an aprentis as a measuring exercise. so i just gave him a drink.

small round disks that sit on top of your valves, you get diffrent ones to adjust the valve clearence. well thats the ones we a talking about here, you do get other shims in diffrent places but don't worry about them.
