Churchill quote £2200 for me to be insured on a 2.0 16v Ford Cougar (which I'm saving for) but only £1300 if I had breasts.

If I had a sex change (LOL) would I qualify for the lower price?:chin:

i can get insured on a coupe for £800 :) not had my licence even 2 years yet and im 22. if i was to insure it in my dads name, and have me as a named driver... £400 :)
now i just have to get money to buy the actual coupe!!

not having a ***** does have its advantages!

You either need to get rid of your wedding vegetables or be over 30 years old to get good value car insurance if you're a bloke. The simple reason is the girls have fewer accidents and are generally a lower risk. Ask the insurance industry, the riskiest group to insure are young males between 17 and 25.

:D

The Cougar is/was a very underated car.

Tbh, the Puma is probably a better drivers car, only reason I could never own one is because the interior is litterally lifted from the fiesta:yuck:

Cougar is much less common, and more 'stylish' than the Puma imho. Still think both are the nicest looking fords we'll probably ever see though, and no chance of a Mk2 Puma or Cougar.

Cougar and my GP parked next to each other will look very special methinks

The above coming from a seicento driver LOL
Vauxhall tigra's look visually awful and are mainly driven by corsa kids who 'got lucky'.

A Tigra is a Corsa in desgise. Driven buy Chav's in desgise (sp?)

same goes for the puma except a fiesta. though it's not quite as girly really.

why would anyone want to buy a ford though? they're common as muck (granted a cougar may be an exception though why didn't it sell?) and they still rust! my tipo's first bit of welding was done last august when it had one small plate welded on for it's last MoT as opposed to a newer fiesta on a lot lower mileage needing a significant amount of welding the year before!! my friend was looking for Ka's a year or two back and lots of them had rusted badly, at least in cosmetic terms!

my brother was looking at getting a ford probe V6, it was a bad example to be honest but even still the interior didn't differ much a fiesta, mondeo, escort etc. and that's probably one of the worst interiors i've come across it's just so bland and plasticcy in the wrong way.

there are only 2, possibly 3 fords i would want to own, an original GT40, a proper mustang and lastly an RS200.

rant over.

aren't you the one who used to own a renault laguna, but had your mum as the main driver?
