Technical Service reset with Multiecuscan

Hi,

Any tips on how to reset the service indicator?

I've got a registered copy of Multiecuscan which I connect up with a USB ELM interface, but I can't see where to do the resetting.

you should have a section called Service Reset or something.

Then you just increase the amount of tickets etc. I think 0 turns it off. It's all explained with the section on each line you can change.

Assuming a diesel engine with DPF there are two things to reset following a service, the service indicator and the oil degredation counter.

The service reset is under the system "Service" (funny that) You need a yellow adaptor lead for most model You then go to "Adjustments" (F7) click on "NEXT SERVICE KM RESET" , read the notes and click on "Excecute" (F10).
Oil degredation reset is in the Engine system page, again under "adjustments" (F7) it's called "Oil change"

On my copy of Multiecuscan the "Service" option was hidden, well, not quite, I just had to scroll down to see it!!
