hi all I'm new to this forum so I'm not sure if this has been posted before (sorry if it has)

I have a 1999 Ulysse TD S 1.9 and everything is fine most of the time but lately the self diagnosis light (orange K light) keeps staying a dark colour and flickering and wont start. the engine will tick over but wont start. :bang: I have changed the heater plugs but to no avail. I've seen on other forums that alot of people have the same problem but no one can give an answer. PLEASE HELP :(

Hi

Think I am a little behind you here, the light has come on and stays on, so far it is driving absolutely fine, but I am getting worried. Have you had any luck finding out what the cause/fix are?

Cheers

Right not checked this yet, however, this may work.

You have changed ya glow plugs, have you changed the relay. I had an other fault that I thought was un-related, and upon further investigation, found that the glow plug relay was faulty.

The other fault was a low alarm sound and the battery light staying half illuminated when I took the key out, when I opened the engine fuse box, there was a relay making the noise and vibrating, just found out that this is possibly the pre-heat glow plug relay????

Will let you know if I find out

Hi. The following may be of help.I have read on one of the other threads concerning glow plug warning lights that some had found the fault with the glow plugs others with the glow plug replay but another writer had found that the relay and plugs were okay and that the problem was with the electrical feed to the relay. They discovered that the fault lay with a blown fuse in the fuse box. I am going through a similar process with my 1.3 Mutltijet engine. I have replaced the glow plugs, having tested them and found two faulty, but still get the glow pug warning light showing with new plugs fitted.Engine doesn't start as quick as it should. Next will be the check in the fuse box then onto the replay. Hope it helps.
