ok i have this rev counter from a seicento sporting
(off ebay)
any1 know where my wires go.
i think i need a .............
12V+
an earth
and the rev counter feed wire

that right ?

i am wiring it to a 1242 16Valve:yum: :yum: :yum: :yum: engine using the ECU rev counter wire.
help much appretiated.

on my mpi you have:

+ve 12v fused
earth/-Ve
signal
illumination feed (if side or main are on, counter illuminates)

Now, you have 3 wires, and I'd say +ve, earth/-Ve and signal are pretty vital :p therefore i presume its not illuminated?

The schematic is for spi but still the same, so i guess its all the same wiring.

also appears as though the m10/ecu feed is simply a potential difference with respect to the 12V so any meter/guage should be easy to fit :)

looking at your 3 wires out, one is missing....this must be connection 2 on the schematic, so :

wire on its own is 12V

wire on opposite end is ECU feed

wire in between the two is earth
