Technical seicento sporting 5th gear problem

Hi,
i am having trouble selecting fifth gear on my seicento , all of the other gears are nice and smooth including reverse,
I have changed the gearbox oil and replaced the clutch cable as it was worn ,but the problem is still there it feels like you cannot move the gearstick across far enough to get fifth ,
It will sometimes go in but you almost have to force it, if it does go in it doesnt crunch. which had me thinking it could be the gear linkage, does anyone know if it is adjustable?

Its not adjustable, but check that the ball ends are tight and that the outer cable is properly secured. Its unlikely that the cable holder is bent, its a muckle object, but have a look just in case.
