Is there anything special about the brake master cylinder fitted to the Schumacher -Is it the same as the Sporting, only with a remote reservoir?
Are there any tricks to removing the reservoir feed pipes from the body of the cylinder or getting the cylinder off without removing the whole ABS unit?
Any tips gratefully received.
This poor car has been sat for nigh on 2 years now with odd bits being done at odd times and every time we get round to doing anything, we find something else! Now there's no pressure in the front right/rear left circuit and no fluid coming out the port in the master cylinder when you push the pedal. I suspect the piston has seized.
Sadly time and enthusiasm are waning fast so it might appear in the classifieds as a project at this rate! It only needs one last effort to get it on the road, but we're up against it...

The Schumacher's have a master cylinder with only two outlets for the brake lines. You can use a normal Cinq/Seicento master cylinder but will need some blanking plugs.
Fiat part No: 0010104211.
I had to buy 5 as a minimum order so have 2 spare.
