General seicento roof bars

I've looked on the halfords website and found that you can actually get roof bars for seicento's. But I keep wondering... how do the rear ones fit one?! I've got a seicento s which has no opening rear windows which is how i wouldve thought the rear roof bars would attach.

the front doors open to show a groove which i'm confidently guessing the front roof bar clamps on to....???

Can i get a set of roof bars which fit my seicento as it is, or do i have to fit openin rear windows??

Not really my bag -- has to destroy the handling! But surely they fit in the black strip things in the roof?

I have a thule roofrack set, and they don't need the rear windows opening. They just clamp onto the bend of the panel. It's nice and secure though

i had the official fiat ones, rear fits over the bend in the panel above the rear window.

and i said had because one fine day on a motorway the front one flipped off. spoke to fiat and they said its a common fault because the bars lift on your car and its only attached in a very small groove.

so make them that extra bit tight mate.!

I'm fairly sure that Thule supply the oem bars for Fiat. Deffo a top quality product.

I fitted Cinquecento ones to my Seicento.
The front one goes right into the door gap and is then tightened with the doors closed as they touch the side plates.
No chance of coming off.

if the cinq ones fit that sounds liek the better option tbh. the sei ones only went in the little groove

The front ones have to go underneath the door rubbers, but they fit very securely, only thing is they can't be locked on.

For thirty quid can't go wrong.
