Found some pics of this Seicento running 15x7 Aluline Turbines, 165/45r15 tyres and it looks sweeeeet! :D don't think he's a member on here.

meh, its not new news that 15s fit - i had 15s on my cinq but it was mega slow on 15s, and it looked daft. But for the record i ran no stretch on mine and had no clearance issues at all. But then i didn't have fashionable dished wheels either.

here is Betty back in 2008 on her silly 15s.

j333evo is adamant his fast cento's have run best on 15s but i still think it looks wrong. Can't remember what size tyres he uses but comes out almost bang on stock rolling radius.

If anything sei's have more room as well for big wheels cause of the shape of the arches, pan336e has 16x7j coupe wheels on his sei with no rubbing or clearance issues. He does have stretched tyres though.

Yes our Cinq runs Lancia 5.5x15" wheels on 165/50/15 Bridgestone RE040 tyres. Same tyre as fitted to the original Lotus Elise, a car praised to this day for not only its handling prowess, but fantastic levels of feedback from the steering. Many owners insist on retaining the Bridgestone tyre to ensure this.

The steering feel, and more importantly the directness of input are far superior to 195/45/14, 185/50/14 which both slow the inputs down and dull the feedback, it's even superior to the OEM 175/50/15. The rolling radius is smaller and closer to OEM 165/55/13 Cinq size than either 195/45/14 or 185/50/14 are.

Many folk think by fitting wider rubber you increase the footprint, you don't the footprint is dictated by the weight of the car on the tyres and the contact point is just changed from a long box || to a wide box = so you may gain a little sideways grip but at the cost of grip under acceleration and braking plus makes the car aquaplane much sooner.

Another bonus of running the narrow 15" rim is the access to a Toyo R888 in 165/50/15 if you want to do trackdays as all the 14" tyre options are completely unsuitable as only come in sizes like 195/50/14 iirc from researching it.

Plus it just looks right :)
