Technical Seicento just not starting

Hallo,

I recently bougth a 2002 Seicento from a friend who had it for a couple of years and drove it without any major problems, a while back i drove it to a local shop, parked the car, when i got back started the car, it sounded as it misfired, and the engine were running rough, as i drove it out of the parking area the car stalled, and do not start, the engine is cranking but not firing up, towed it to a guy, he battle to find the problem, towed it to the local fiat dealer, who informed me they can not find any problem as the model of the car is to old for their diagnostic equipment, towed the car home, please can any body give some advice on what might the problem be?????

Is the EML light on?

What engine does it have (etc). And see this.

Crank the car. Remove spark plug. Is the plug wet and smelling of petrol? Put the plug on the cylinder head. Crank engine. Is there a spark? If neither, chances are the TDC (aka Crank) sensor has failed.
