hi all
forgive me for asking such a stupid question but what grade of oil does the 1108 seicento use?

not a stupid question at all, i asked the same thing before lol

you can use a 10w40 grade oil, preferably semi synthetic in the seis but if you find you have a mild tappety noise with this oil you can use a 5w/40 grade which is a little thinner and gets to the top of the engine a lot quicker and lubricates things a bit quicker (y)

to be honest i changed from regular stuff you can buy from car parts shops and went for the selenia 20k from fiat themselves and i wud never look back :)

If you have an MPI seicento (01-04) the ideal oil is 15w 40 semi synthetic

SPI seicentos (98-01) ideal oil is 10w 40 semi synthetic

Sorry my apologies just checked my old thread

It is the other way round

MPI is 10w 40

SPI is 15w 40

apologies
