Hi there, new to this forum.
Have a 2001 Seicento and suddenly the heater will only blow cold air. Have read about the infamous Cock Valve problem. I have removed the batteey and insulation material and I can see the valve.
Question is, how do I remove it please? Do I have to remove the entire heater box? I dont seem to be able to download the Technical Manual either.

The valve is attached to the side of the heater rad.

You can probably remove the screws holding the heater rad in and slide it out.

I can’t remember if the valve is separate or part of the little heater rad.

When my Cinq heater rad exploded I did take the whole unit out to replace it, but it can probably be done in situ.

The valve is a separate part, but as you've got to disconnect the coolant lines anyway, it may be easier to pull the heater rad out.

As a new heater rad is only £25, it may be worth replacing anyway.
