Technical sei p300 fault code

After servicing my new sei sporting runabout i went down the motorway at about 70-75 the injector light started flashing. i have a code reader in the car and plugged it in and it gave me fault code p300 random multiple misfire.
Im going to change the coils for two new ones i have lying about.
i have read a few posts about some kind of cam wheel sensor learn procedure when the timing has been slightly moved
does this go for the sei aswell?
("quote another post"have a phonic wheel learn procedure carried out, this will cure the problem).
can i do this or is it fiat only?

Try the coil pack first (and the infamous "look under the bonnet with the engine running at night" trick).

Forget the rest for now.

not been impressed with my local garages quality of fuel i decided to fill up with tesco high octane.
either the raised octane level or just better fuel i think has got rid of the poor acelleration and hesitation.
i havent had the light flash on or any codes since. i will report back in a few days.
