General Sei coloured seats?

Looking at a Sporting Sei for my next milage muncher.
My question is, were the seat colours particular to any one model/type car?.
I like the red and black also the grey and black but not a lover of the blue.

My sei mpi (02) has light grey/dark grey seats. Light grey matches dash and dark grey/black matches the steering wheel.

I think the spi sporting versions were the ones with blue seats

I'm pretty sure all mpi sportings/abarths have the seats like mine (light/dark grey + round headrests with centre hole) so around 2001>
Before that the spi sportings have the blue/grey seats with the rectangular headrests.
I've seen some 899's with some blueish circular patterned seats. I think the SX had just blue seats with a tough tarpaulin type seat base and back. I guess to stop people/things in the back getting your seats mucky

IMO the sporting seats would be the ones to go for as they're more comfy/supportive. I've not sat in an spi car but I think the headrests look way better, but those seats are blue/grey so I would say go for the sporting seats from a post 2001 car

Do some more research - you are half right on most things but the highlighted bit is really flawed advice

MPI is the same colour as mentioned above barring it is throughout the range rather than exclusive to Sportings and abarth/schumis etc

The yellow and the red spi sportings had blue chequered seats the silver/grey and the black ones had red chequered seats

SPI SX and S is a lottery regarding colours there were that many ltd editions

You need to be looking at what i think youve described as liking as.....

1. Any set of seats from an oct 00-04 SX or sporting/abarth schumi (S dont have rear headrests, you get an abarth badge on the schumi or abarth)

2. A set of seats from a 98-00 sporting that more than likely belonged in a grey/silver or black car

Or you could just buy seats.... they seem to crop up on ebay fairly often.
