Technical sedicivalvole camshaft sesnor

i've recently bought for parts 1.8 16v tipo which is in probobly the worst condition you've ever seen (rotten all the way), but the engine runs like new. as i already own 2.0 16v, i was wondering if i could take the cam sesnor from that 1.8 and put it on my 2.0? they look the same, but are they really? also, i've heard that 1.8 has slightly different intake camshaft, and ppl often install those in 2.0 16v turbo engines (like delta integrale, coupe, thema...). if i put that on my tipo, would there be any gains in power?
