Technical Sedici bad rattle and knocking when turning over

Sorry about that. I have a sedici 1.9 multijet desiel. It's making a really loud rattle when turning over. Gone one it's started. Sometimes starts first time. Sometimes up to 10 tries. Code said starter module fault. It has been changed along with glowplugs. No difference. Only happens when stood a few hours. Any help appreciated. Getting expensive and the garage is getting nowhere.

What age is your 4x4..?

The engine has been around a while..


The garage shouldnt just keep swapping parts at your expense..!!

Where are you based??

A tip:

Put a jumplead in the boot

Then when its COLD..and messing about

Clip the lead from Black battery negative
To engine metalwork

(You are adding an extra earth point..)

Does it start better ?
