Dont think this is possible :bang: , but does anyone know of any function to knock the warning sound off for the seatbelts (2004 stilo dynamic) so that it does not sound when im not wearing it. thanks

if you really do have a deathwish, how about wrapping the belt around the back of the seat and clipping it in?

I assume you mean you use the car for deliveries, so often need to drive 30 feet at a time? Otherwise, not taking the ****, but why would you drive without it? Airbag won't work properly in a crash if you're not belted in as you'll be in the wrong place in the car.

You may die.

ok first a disclaimer: seatbelts save lives, airbags don't work properly without them, there is a REASON why the seatbelt reminder is so persistant.

Visit a panel beater, car garage or scrap yard and ask for just the clip in part of the seatbelt. They should either have a few spare or be able to order it for u or just cut one off a wrecked car.

Maybe he wants to use the car as a taxi/private hire car [the 5-door Stilo is ideal ;)]

I have a taxi-driver friend who had a massive accident on the A14 last year, when some juggernaut ploughed into him. Can't quite recall whether he was belted up or not BUT he now wears it all the time! So what if a fare dodger gets away with a tenner, belting up saves lives.

What?

Unless like Pete says you are in and out every 30 feet why would this be a problem?

As for the Taxi thing, never understood that...

Ok it means they could get after a fair dodger a couple tenths of a second quicker, but thats going to make no difference to whether they are caught, they're either gonna be faster or not.

I dont have a deathwish, nor do i wish to wreck my car.

Unlike all of you people that more than likley live in concrete jungles on the black stuff, i happen to have to drive up and down a 4 mile off road farm track to get home, which at times can be rather difficult in certain conditions because it isnt the smoothest of surfaces. see below;

Cant wear a seat belt because in conditions like this need to get right up to look over bonet or to hang out of the window to make sure i dont drag my stilos ass along the floor.

But i can assure you i do wear my seatbelt on the black stuff.

Ah, ok, you should have said earlier ;)

Wow, that looks like a serious stretch of road. I think best advice was from Pete, just clip belt in behind you to turn sensor off.

Serious?! thats an easy bit!! but i manage to navigate it without bottoming out, good job the stilo aint too low, even when its on 17's with only 45 profile tyres. i never thought of putting it behind me until it was mentioned il give it ago, the beep beep beep BEEP BEEP was starting to do my head in.

I use the same technique on the Ulysse - if I pop to shops and put, say, two large milk cartons on the passenger seat, then the sensors go mad, and tells me passenger not belted up!!!
