Hi guys, I’m new here and to Scudo’s. I own a 53 plate 1.9D EL.
I went to start it as normal a few mornings back but it wasn’t having it, just turning over. I called the AA out and turns out the guy used to work on these engines. He suspected it was the immobiliser, common fault apparently? He said everything was good up to the pump, & that the immobiliser wasn’t allowing it to pass through. He said the best thing to do is have the immobiliser removed & recommended a garage that would do it for £300.
Has anyone had a similar issue or know of a quicker or cheaper fix?
