scratches

okay my car is black and is covered in many small scratches
paints in good nick,just i think the last owner didnt do much bar wash it

anyone recommend any products that dont cost the earth?
usually it would be a T cut job for me

oh yes by hand
no pics today.
scratches arent major
eg paint looks fine from a few feet away but get close and you can see them
bit like if someone has a drive with over hanging tree's

give this ago http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Tropi-care_Swirl_Cutter_1.html then when your happy finish with autoglym super resin polish that works like a filler so will help hide swirls and light scratches that are left then give it a wax

abit more advice on using SRP make sure you use a small amount and work well to avoid dusting otherwise you will have your own weather system. work well as said above it will mask the majority of the swirls although light ones will come out because SRP as a limited cut to it to help remove the lightest of swirl marks it should easily last a good few months although if you have not got any SRP just get a litre because cost wise it makes more sense also if you have not got any wax get some colly 476s to cover with and do 2 coats about couple hrs apart should do a nice job of it
