I've got a day free towards the end of the month in the Birmingham area to try and scavenge a few parts for the panda.

Does anyone know any decent breakers in or around that area that may have a Panda laying around?

I'm looking for
roof rails and sisley type roof bars/ roof rack
Inner door trim that holds the carpet down
Passenger side plastic trim cover on the pillar. The lower one that also holds the carpet down
4x4 rims
Spare radiator
and anything else i can get hold of

Thanks in advance chaps and chapesses (y)

Best of luck. Not sure of any places around the Birmingham area, but Panda's are increasingly hard to find in scrappys now. This is one reason why we're insisting that insurance company returns us dad's smashed Panda so we can strip it. Letting it go to the crusher whole dosen't seem right!

Add headlight switch to your hunt. Always worth having a spare!

Jon.

Try Copes of Earlswood, Juggins Lane, Earlswood and Micky Merrells, off Valley Road in Earlswood, both good places for bits and not too dear, easily found from Birmingham too, and only 2 miles from my house :)

Thanks guys. Good info there Auto Blanco. Hopefully i can find one.

MEP, i've already salvaged one headlight switch as a spare from a Panda. But thanks for the tip, any other particular parts you'd recommend nabbing if i find one?

Not sure. I tend to grab what ever I can that looks good at the time

If you do find a 4x4 though, I personally would be interesting the the fuel filler neck (bodywork to tank), as I've a hole in the one on my daily Sisley that I've bodged and don't know how long it will last.

There also used to be (im going back now) a breakers towards the centre called seven day autos, all he used to break was italian stuff. The bloke used to have a yellow strada cabrio on BMW running gear.

There was a good sized scrappy that I used to pass every day on the way to work under the aston expressway. Its on Electric Ave (no Eddie Grant gags please) not to far from the round about (salford circus) under spaghetti junction. Not sure what it's called though, or if it is still there..., although it is visable on google maps.
