Hi guys i am alive - just, there is still officailly no pwer, we are running off a jenny supplied by norweb, the weather was that bad yesterday, not only did a pylon get hit by lightening but also a bridge in the valley that crosses the river wash washed away - apparently there is a power supply that runs along the bridge to when the bridge wen, so did the power not sure how long he jenny will last theough, we a due more bad weather tonight though arrggh!!!

Glad to hear you survived it and how nice of the power company to help you out. Have you managed to sort a torch/ candles for tonight just in case? I can lend you some lovely scented candle thingies if not but then what am I going to put around my bath?

lol if that happened it wasnt anything to do with me as teh lecky was out before i moved in.....HA!!!!!

Right here are some pics of what happened in the storm on tues these were taken yesterday.

First picture is that of where the bridge used to be - its quite a big drop, so imagine how high the water was.

the second is that of where the power cable is that feeds all the power to the area where i am - including three owls!!!!!

Third pic is of the 1.5 ton solid wooden bridge that the power ran along underneath, just got washed down stream - about 2 mile down stream, maybe more
