OMFG!!! Wow! And that's just Sammi ;)

Lol, in all seriousness it's a beautiful car, scared me to death at points! We certainly tested it quite well (about 4-5 hours!) and it's amazing to sit in.

I would certainly recommend anybody who can afford it, get a 220BHP coupe! You will NOT be disappointed!

lol pinin, nice choice ;) It felt quicker in first than the 3.2 v6 TT I drove at Silverstone - that felt more controlled but then again I had it on auto - which felt less violently quick lol.

Yeah It's the power delivery on this car, It feels like an unrelenting wave of acceleration. This is mainly due to the bloated torque curve thanks to the turbo. So Was Sammiboo giving it some heavy right foot?!

A fair bit but only when very safe (she knows me too well to do it otherwise ;) ) Took on a FTO/GTO on the motorway, kept up to 120mph but then it moved out into the lane we were in (about to go passed) and so she slowed down (i was about to phone the police myself ;) )

This guy in a transit gestured for a race lol, as you can imagine it wasn't much of a competition but a good laugh!

Sammi was still really getting used to it - for instance pulling away quickly from lights is still *pull away normally then press hard on throttle* instead of knowing how to get away quick the whole way but it was so much fun!

I was impressed at the refinement too TBH, it made the right noises and there wasn't too much of anything else cruising on the motorway - only obvious was a bit of wind noise, half as much as my Uno at half the speed lol. I didn't see the outside of the car - too dark when she found where I am living! - but the inside is beautiful.

I think I can safely say it's pulling now aswell as it did 70k miles ago! The maintenance has been very good, 2 cambelt changes, one for the first owner and then another for the second owner, obviously worried the first wasn't perfect.

Sound's like she got a real bargain there, I saw it for sale on the coupe forum, Everyone was asking why it was so cheap! Must have needed a quick sale?. Anyway, The best way off the lights I find is to keep it at a steady 4k revs, then raise the clutch steadily. Then slowly ease your foot to the floor.. and watch whatever it is your'e racing in the rearview mirror!!

It's not like my previous car where you just mashed the pedal to the metal, apparently turbo'd motors react faster to steady commands than jerky ones.

I see, well, Sammi should read this and learn :) I guess it's about getting the turbo up to speed etc.

I see no reason why it was so cheap, everything seemed great to me!

The high mileage hasn't affected it from what I see though which is good, I guess that's where the great SH comes in.

Yes, I would agree, a little of 3k for 220BHP, it's stupid! I can't think of any other car with such power and features for the same price?

What!!!!!!!!

How much Paul???? Right, thats it, anyone wanna buy a Stilo? Sod the insurance, I can pay that with the change I have left over :D

Seriously tho, saw a Coupe the same as Sammi and Pinin's last night, it was gorg, couldn't stop looking at it :D

Sprint Blue is THE best Fiat colour too ;)

heeeeeeeeey :D

i love the car - the guy was really sad to let it go, this was his 3rd coupe and due to moving house he needs a diesel for the miles he covers.

i felt really sorry for him, it was quite obvious he didnt want to sell the car, but he had to let it go and he did know quite a bit about coupes and gave me the low down of do's and donts.

The 134 mile drive back from newcastle was fun, he admit i did speed but only in small spurts, which was sooooo much fun, my brother drove part way back too, and he just couldnt stop smiling it was sooo funny LOL.

The car is great - the only thing i dont like is the gear knob - that will be the first thing for me to change - apart from that - no complaints :)

And i am loving the attention it gets - people stop and look at it thats highly cool :D

You got it in Newcastle eh? If I'd known you could have popped in to see me ;)

Sounds great Sammi, and after trying to convince you to go for a Stilo I now have to admit you made the right choice, the pics Pinin posted did that :D

thanks james :)

seriously you should get one - i was really gutted that i would have to get rid of my bravo but now its bravo? what bravo ;)

if you fancy a test drive in one i am hoping to be at that elvington airfiled on the 24th Oct for the drag strip, so if any ff peeps fancy a blast down the strip in it they are more than welcome as insurance is void on there anyway.

i cant believe how underated this car is!!!!!
