ohh, ermm, what setting do i use on the meter? the net has brung up a few different results, cheers

yeah i sussed it, knocking out 11.90 - 12 volts, alternators broke by the looks of it, still, what the AA bloke said about the dash light worries me, tried different bulbs in it etc.
Two points
Is the Cabby a genuine RS. Don't remember there being a cabby option.
The battery light should come on when the ignition is switched on. This provides the tickle to the alternator. If the light is not present then the alternator won't be getting the tickle it needs so it won't charge.

nah its a conversion, they all are.
i wouldnt even know where to begin trying to sort that light out, got a a new speedo cluster and alternator for £20 aswell as other bits and bobs, ill try the clocks first
if speedo fails let me know and i'll have a look.

damn, didn't fix it, is it even worth chucking the alternator on if i'm not getting any lights?

right, i'm going for it, i'm sorting it for the summer, need to find this bloody earth strap lol, failing that the alternators going on, cant find much help on the cabby forum

got the alternator sorted, took it to my mates garage, fitted the alternator i bought and the full SS scorpion for £45
