General Running engine without the plastic cover (Pictures)

Hey guys, need your opinion on some (Styling) idea I've got .

So I Like playing around alot with my engine, but I always get annoyed from that plastic cover that i need to remove everytime I get under the hood

I've removed the cover and installed my CAI filter (Temporarily) right on the intake .

It doesn't touch the engine alot as I've raised it a few millimetres to provide extra heat escape.

So do you think it's ok running without the cover on ?
I'm in Egypt and It rains a little bit FYI

I don't know what cover you're talking about.
Anyway, I noticed your ( K&N) airfilter, sitting on top of your hot engine, sucking in warm air......!
You will certainly lose (some) power this way!
I would relocate this filter, and make sure it only takes in (colder) outside air, your engine will run much better that way.
