Yea, saw that too! Nope thats pretty much all you need to do! You wouldnt even need to bother with the heater if you were running it on say 25% Chip fat and 75% diesel.

Slightly different topic but I asked at a filling station that stocks bio-diesel last year and for my Panda MJT, only 5% was recommended, in fact the assistant in the shop said they wouldn't sell the 50/50 mix to me as it wasn't suitable for common rail engines. However, she said they would quite happily sell the 50/50 to taxis as the older engines could run quite happily on it.

I personally would never run my car on the stuff.

Engines werent designed to run on this stuff when they were built.

It may also rob/sap your power and come when we get very cold winter mornings you may find that it isnt as easy to start running your car

The first ever diesel engine was designed to run on rape seed oil. (which is why old mercedes cars will run off chip fat from a fryer as it comes) And Bio diesel cleans the engine out and acts like a libricant. It also gives better MPG and if made right will look after your engine.

So your facts are totally wrong!.

It's advisble to filter the chips first :p.

And a modern diesel engine used in new fiat's is a completely different machine to those dirty old "pumpe duse" like engines ;).
