Hello, will be ordering my 14s on Friday, they are gonna be correct offset and PCD blah, blah, blah but i was wondering:

I'm gonna opt for 195/45R14 size tyres, are these gonna rub on my rear arches with a 35mm drop???

Had a look with the search but the only pics i could find where on a standard height Sei!

Thanks :D

Depends on the width of wheel and offset you're running really. I get absolutely no rubbing with 185/50/14 lowered 40mm with sei abarth alloys.

They are 14x6 and with ET30 (y) I'm guessing they are gonna be ok. Just wanna check before I part with my hard earned cash.

Well thats the offset im running, so should be ok. You may get a little on the rears though as at the back im running ET36 and theres only a tiny gap between tyres and wheelarch :)

Well as you probabaly saw i am standard height, but with passengers or a full load (back seats down) i do get rubbing, only on corners and over bumps.

It should also say that i do not know how wide my TSW Alpines are. I do have 10mm spacers on

There is also a limited tyre choice with this tyre size, about 6 different makes and the difference in cost for them is very minimal, approx 9 quid for the cheapest to the most expensive tyre, according to my-tyres.co.uk with the cheapest being over 40 quid!
