Hi to all, newbie on this site so forgive me if this question has been asked before.
Just bought a 2003 Ulysse Prestigio 2.0JTD and loving it
, every thing has been working ok (apart from FAP additive low warning, which after reading posts about it will have to get sorted).
Last night I found some dead wires (already cut and definatley not original) which I traced back to battery and appear to be from the cars previous life as a taxi/courier vehicle I removed positive lead from battery and removed all the dead wires reconnected battery and all ok except the screen in the middle of the dash now only comes up the Fiat logo and a blue screen with ready in the bottom right corner. Radio and CD player all still worked but info on display.
After reading a few threads on here and EV2 decided RT3 needed to be reinstalled:idea:, downloaded V5.5, followed instructions, and inserted burnt CD into player, screen displayed loading then returned to ready, waited a while but screen never changed from ready, after 20mins with engine running decided to give up. Now the screen still only displays the Fiat logo but I've lost the radio and CD!!!!
Can anyone help or will I have to bite the bullet and take it to a Fiat dealer because of my incompetence and impatience (big words may not be spelt right!!)
