Technical RPM problem

Hey guys
im from SA.Just bought me a white 2003 fait palio 1.6 elx sport 5dr

i have a problem with the rpm gauge on the cluster its not working.i have check the fuses and every thing is still fine.but dont want to open up the wireing because i still dont know much about this car.

what can be the problem so far and what can i do about it thanks

You may have to change the Instrument cluster. all other gauges are working fine? i think the connection is bad. why not wait for sometime and give it a try?

I don't think there is a problem with the RPM sensor cuz that would relate to starting problems.
