Technical Roof Bars

I've got the roof bars that run across the car (for carrying wardrobe etc) and I would like to remove them. Can someone please tell me how to, I can't figure it out?? would be willing to swap for length-ways roof bars. Cheers

Doesnt sound like a fair swap to me. Cross bars £65, Longitudinal bars (or roof rails) £175...

Doubt anyone would go for it.

In answer to your question, you need to remove then end covers and there is an alan key bolt iirc that you'll need to undo and they'll lift off

Should be an Alan key bolt on the inside of the bars which hold the end covers on. Me bad, I'd forgotten that.

That's ok. Best bet for the plugs will be a scrappy, or about £2 each new from Fiat.
