Technical roof aerial

Hi,

My aerial has snapped off from the roof(broke at the thread). how do i remove the one on the roof and how much is it for a replacement? and is it a easy job?. some plonker qouted me 60.00 to put one of thoses rubish window mounted ones on. i am sure i can do this job my self

I have done the same thing I looked at getting one off ebay which i believe was around £20 and I believe i can get the little thread out ii use a drill will a small bit (and am careful) to put a slot in it so i can jam a screw driver in and unscrew it
