General RNS 3 - Punto Sat Nav lcd lines

does anyone know a fix for it?
I've cracked it open and had a mess with the LCD cabling etc, but its kinda got worse.
Anyone know how to fix it?

I've got the same problem on mine, it seemed to get better when the "face" of the unit clicked back firmly after being opened (when you change the CD) but it's got worse again. The spring's broken in the opening mechanism of mine anyway and it doesn't seem to help
