p.s forgive my bad punctuation lol

Done that today, no such luck lassie in the shop was a bit clueless. But done a trial fitting and the holes in the alloys dont match up with the car im stumped... multifit my bum!! lol

ulti fit should fit all cars shouldnt they ? hence "multi fit" aha.
Maybee you need some spacers or spriget rings for them to fit ur car exactly,
spacers are about 11.99 - 16.99 for two depending on what size u need and spriget rings are 24.99 :)

Back up a little bit, and take a deep breath. The question was asked 'how trained do you have to be to fit wheels?' The answer is, 'virtually none' if you are fitting Fiat wheels and have the right bolts to hand, but for multi-fits like these, a little more care is required (but still not worth £40, the advice on here is free :D)

The good news is that your offset looks good at 38mm, so spacers should not be necessary according to this guide. The number of holes required is consistent too.

Now for the not-so-good news. The reason your holes don't line up is because your car has a pitch-circle diameter of 98mm, whereas these alloys have PCDs of 100mm and 108mm. If the holes are massively out (i.e. 4mm out), then rotate the wheel by 45 degrees relative to the hub and then the 100mm holes should then be lined up (only 1mm out). Now 1mm offset can be corrected using PCD-correction bolts (known colloquially as 'wobbly bolts'). These bolts can be bought from 'richie.guy' on this forum, and the thread size/pitch/seat/shank length advice will be free.

Now the last point is the centre bore, and unfortunately, Halfords have not published this. This is basically the diameter of the big hole in the middle of your wheel, and for a pre-Grande Punto, this should be 58.1mm. Too small, and it won't fit on the hub at all, too large, and the whole weight of the car will rest on just the wheel bolts. Since you were able to trial-fit for the bolt hole alignment, I shall assume that they are either the right size, or the centre bore is too large. If it is too large, you can buy spigot rings (again, from richie.guy) which slot into the hole to make the centre bore to the correct size.

And now you know why I took the easy route, and just fitted genuine Fiat (y)
