if major island with metal bars surrounding - i guess it wouldnt take so much.

The few seconds he took to realise what was going to happen but couldnt stop it must be the worst thing.

Truely awful.

leave any1 behind
parents wife n kid (i think)

speed, there was a long run up and the throttle jammed at the start of it

Yeah he wouldn't have had much time to do anything about it especially if he was doing a fair speed (by that I don't mean speeding).

It is a terrible thing to happen.

That's even worse. It was a senseless death.

So he must have been doing a fair speed then as the throttle must have been jammed a while...........if he had time, why didn't he shut off the ignition and keep the car straight? He may still be alive today. Probably panicked when he realised.

I feel for all those who Jay left behind.

from another forum - think more of a 'these things happen' more than anything

Right. It still a sad thing to happen, regardless of what you drive :(
