A Anonymous Guest Apr 13, 2004 #1 I read in an earlir post that it is a common problem for the engine to rev when at idel. Mine goes from 850-3000. The post mentioned this only takes 10 mins to fix. It doesnt mention how! Any clues anyone.

T Tom Guest Apr 13, 2004 #5 Re: Sorry Hard to help if you don't know rather important bits like that. It will be a sticking idle valve, dunno about the 1.4 as no-one has let me near one with a set of spanners yet.
