revs for no reason :(

hi

today had my spark plug leads out quickly to see how fuel injectors affected tick over(as my fuel injectors r packing up). put em back in after test and now my car just revs for no reason.

slow down stick it in nuetral and it revs by itself, also car seems like its on cruise control wen i take my foot off accelerator.
I checked to see if my spark leads wer in right slots and they are

Hi, i am very new, both to this forum and to owning a bravo. Thought i have read throught these pages from start to end and back once.

And there is section that speaks about "Erratic Idling - Jumping revs from 850 - 2000rpm" (on a repair guide page).

As a reason it speaks about Idle air control valve. I kind of have no idea what is that (as english is not my native language). But i'll give it a try.

If that thing can influence rpms - what if its stucked in wrong position then?
