OK it's all systems go for fitting the turbo on the weekend. One last question though. I need to connect the mappable fuel controller for the extra injector, and I was told it wires onto the rev counter wires. I've got 2 wires, one red and one yellow. I read in another thread how the rev counter gets the reading from the ignition coils. Is this where I wire it to?

For those of you with a cinq hayes manual if you go to page 5B.2 and look at figure 3.2 there's a diagram of the coils. Do I connect to any one, or do I take a +ve from one coil and a -ve from the other?

Any help is much apprieciated, hope I haven't confused you all either :)

I feel a 1242 turbo coming on...

I have a feeling that =ve and -ve might be a bad idea, most tacho's take their feeds from -ve signals, so two -ve's might be a better idea, personally I'd contact VanAaken (it is them yu bought it off??) and see what they can say!

Well +ve and -ve was just a guess, you may well be right. Anyone else know for sure?

I've spoken to Van Aaken a few times concerning head gasket spacers and dump valve kits and both times they were'nt that helpeful to be honest. It seems as though if you aren't interested in buying a kit from them and letting them fit it they don't really want to talk to you.
