General Rev counter and heater gauge?

Hi.

I want to fit a rev counter and heater gauge to my JTD, has anyone done this already and if so what are the hassles?

You could get the rev counter relatively easily by fitting the instrument cluster from an ELX model. If by heater guage you mean a water temperature gauge, it's got one of thos in the same cluster. You'd also get a trip computer into the bargain. I think I'm right in saying that the wiring for this is present in all models, so it should be pretty much plug and play.

I'd also like to do this , the lack of rev counter has bothered my wife since we got the car, do you have to do any mileage correction on the multipla's or is the mileage stored in the ecu and fed to the cluster ???
