Technical Retrofit TFT instrument cluster mileage flashing and no automatic gear info

New member and great forum. New to Fiat 500 and just completed a retrofit from standard instrument cluster to TFT colour version. Everything works except;

1) The car is a dualogic 2018 and the automatic gearbox does not display on TFT screen. Car functions as it should and only gear which shows is reverse and reverse indication but not the auto and if gears in auto / manual or neutral.
2) The TFT version has slightly lower mileage than existing model and i have taken pictures of both instrument panels before i get mileage corrected for accuracy. The mileage on the TFT screen flashes continuously once the car has started.

I need some help to advise to confirm if these problems can be resolved?

Flashing mileage indicates it needs Proxi alignment hooked up to a laptop, Typecastboy maybe able to help re the other issues?

Does anyone actually know? I wonder after a proxi if it would show the auto

I know with the old ones (LED ones) if you hold a speedo up to the light you can see all the "legends" and that doesn't include the auto display. They are specific for an auto. Whether that is the same for the TFT ones or not I don't know. In theory as TFT it shouldn't necessarily be like that. The OP has PM'd me and I've asked whether it was out of a facelift car or an older one, as that may also be the issue but based on what they are saying, I think we can safely assume they are different.

OK so there are two links below which are a little video I did this morning connected to a dashboard ECU and as you can see there are no adjustments to change anything on the speedo display.

As you will see in the video there is a "automatic gearbox failure light" that you can activate to see if it's included but I think you may well be right in what you say that a proxy alignment might do it.

Great news - purchased MSE and cables. Proxy Alignment identified issue, followed procedure and bingo - mileage stopped flashing and all dualogic screen face details returned showing both Eco mode and also automatic/ semi automatic gear indication, neutral, and reverse. Couldn't be happier and so much better screen with tft. Thank you all and especially typecastboy!
