Hi,
I have one question for Brava 1,6 16V '99.
Does anyone know, if i remove battery, for i don't know 24, 48 or more hours, and leave car without electricity, is it possible to reset ECU and delete all written fault codes?
I know the ECU have it's own, small battery, that he use when car stays without main power, but it also should be completely empty after some times also. Same thing is like in BIOS on computer and he reset himself after some times.

Is anyone try this?

Thank you

no mark, disconnecting the battery will not fix your fan's live supply. (see my reply to your other thread)

luka, to remove the fault codes you need to clear them using a fiat examiner or similar. there is no need to clear the faults on these ecu's, the fault light will switch off when the fault is fixed and you will not be able to tell the difference. the only advantage to erasing fault codes is that next time you read the codes you dont get confused by old codes.
